For example, as our grocery stores take in deliveries, many are requiring all workers to use gloves when restocking the shelves and our drive-thru restaurants may be using gloves and/or masks when preparing our food, but what happens to the excess packaging once they have restocked or unloaded? Sure they may still be wearing gloves and washing their hands to discard the boxes/packaging, but when their waste bin, baler, or compactor is full….are they still wearing gloves?  If the CDC is stating that the virus can live on materials such as cardboard and plastic, for up to three days, then these same workers can potentially be exposed when handling the waste or bales days later.
